This was a travel day as we picked up from our campground at Guelph, and headed for Kingston Ontario. We were fortunate to make it through Toronto on Highway 401 rather quickly. It wasn't nearly as bad as we had expected. Once we passed Toronto, we branched off the 401 and headed towards a road closer to the lake. It was a little slow but interesting country in and around Picton and Nepean. We made it to Kingston and then located a campground just north of the city called Rideau Acres Camping Resort. It is quite a large campground / summer resort, and they assigned us a campsite near to the dock.

Our campsite is conveniently placed close to the boat rental, and has an amazing view of the sunset over the lake.
